Connective Church

Plan a Visit

We can't wait to meet you!

You love our community. We do too! Our mission is simple. We connect people with God and each other, grow strong families and transform our community. We'd love to meet you and your family at our weekend worship gatherings.

Each service begins with inspiring music. Then, you will hear a message based on the Bible. The heart of our church is to help people grow. It is our hope and goal that the message will encourage and challenge you.

You can save some time, especially if you have kids to check in, by completing our Connect Card now. We promise to keep your information secure, and not to contact you all of the time. We'd just like the opportunity to follow up with you and see how your visit went.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?

You won’t be put on the spot.

  • You won’t have to wear a name badge or be singled out in any way.
  • You don’t even have to sing along if you don’t feel comfortable.
  • You’re not expected to give when we receive the offering.

As our guest, we have a gift for you. You can stop by the "New to Connective" tables to pick it up before you leave. We have a Connect Card to fill out in case you have questions, need prayer, or are interested in any of our events or resources. This card is only used to help us serve you better and keep you informed of church-wide events and activities. You will not be spammed.

What do you believe?

We believe that Jesus is the son of God and the Bible is the word of God. Our goal is to serve you in any way possible to help you grow.

Read more about what we believe and our purpose and core values here.

What kind of church is Connective? What denomination are you?

Great question and we get it a lot. Typically, it's more of a question of branding, rather than beliefs. People know what to expect when they go into their favorite chain restaurant, regardless of its location. In the same way, knowing a church's denomination is a clue to what you'll experience.

We come from all different types of Christian backgrounds (Assemblies of God, Southern Baptist, Christian Church, Catholic… we could keep going), so Connective Church feels "non-denominational." This unity of believers is core to who we are as a church, and we celebrate our diversity. If you believe that Jesus is Lord and the Bible is true, you'll fit right in; but if you're not sure about all that and still have questions, we'd love to have you join us as well.

We're not alone, though. For accountability and support, we've partnered with these church networks: Church Multiplication Network and the Assemblies of God fellowship of churches.

Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable. Whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, or a Hawaiian shirt and shorts; whatever you're wearing, you will fit right in.

Are you going to get all "political"?

Nope. We believe that Jesus is the answer to the problems of the world. With that in mind, endorsing a particular politician or political party doesn't make much sense. That said, when the Bible speaks clearly on an issue, we encourage everyone to follow that instruction.

What about my kids?

Our Connective Kids ministry is split into two rooms…

  • Connective Kids Junior (6 Weeks to 4 Years) — Your child will experience our caregivers singing worship songs and hear creative Bible stories. 2-4 year olds are in the same room, but have a separate play area, so they can stretch their legs and play, but not run into our littlest ones.
  • Connective Kids (Kindergarten to 6th Grade) — Children have an especially active worship service. We want them to do two really important things: learn God's Word and have fun!

You can save a lot of time upon arrival on your first visit by Pre-Registering your child.

Upon arrival, children will be checked in and receive a name tag with a unique number. As a parent, you will get a pickup slip as well. If your child needs your immediate attention, the classroom leader will contact you through text messaging. All Connective Kids volunteers have been background checked.

If you're not ready to check your children into Connective Kids, that's okay! We just ask that you slip out of our Auditorium and into the Lobby if your little one gets upset or fidgety during our adult worship experience.

I have older kids. Where will they go?

Students (7th to 12th Grade) are a part of our regular worship service on Sunday morning. We are currently developing an age-specific ministry to this group, called Connective Students. Be sure to register them on our Connect Card, so we can notify you when it launches.

Can someone pray with me?

We have a time a prayer with our ministry leaders in our Auditorium. You'll be invited to meet with them at the close of each service. If you need immediate prayer, please email us at prayer@connective.church.

I came to Connective and really enjoyed it. What's my next step?

Our Next class is the best place to find your "next step" at Connective Church. You will learn more about our vision, beliefs and values, meet our pastor, and find out how you can get involved.
